Marco Klinger

 Professor Marco Klinger,
born the 11
th Agust 1955 in Milan, has graduated in 1980 at the Faculty of Medicine at the
University of Milan with full marks and honours.
At the same university he achieved two specialisations: in Plastic and Reconsturctive Surgery
in 1985 and in Micro and Sperimental surgery in 1988.
Since 2004 he has become the Chief of the II Division of Plastic Surgery of the IRCCS
Istituto Clinico Humanitas and since 2003 the Director of the II School of Specialisation in
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the University of Milan.
Between 1996 and 2002 his role was Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Casa di Cura S.
Pio X of Milan; previously he has been senior assistant (1994) and the assistant (1993) at the
Institute of Plastic and Reconstuctive Surgery at the University of Milan. In 1986 he became
assistant at the III Institute of Clinical Surgery at the University of Milan and in 1987 of the
Department of Plastic Surgery directed by Professor Luigi Donati at the same university.
Abroad, in 1982, Professor Marco Klinger has undergone a fellowship at the Harvard Medical
school (Boston) where he became clinical fellow between 1984 and 1985. During the summer of 1997 he
carried out a fellowship at the University of Ciudad de Mexico at the Manuel Gea Gonzales
Hospital.
